Borger Independent School District is proud to offer "Big School Opportunities in a Small School Setting".  The district is committed to our core business of instruction and curriculum, and student achievement is always our primary focus. Through our varied instruction and program offerings, we are changing and preparing children for their future.  Our student-centered culture allows us to focus on the special gifts and the individual needs of every child.

Our elementary campuses offer rigorous, hands-on instruction. Language arts and math instruction are offered in varied settings including Guided Reading and Guided Math.  These small group instructional formats allow teachers to focus on the individual student.   IPAD labs and computer labs supplement our core instruction by adding engaging technological learning opportunities.

Borger Intermediate School and Borger Middle School are active, rich learning environments.  Classes are focused on rigorous, hands on learning, technology, and engaging core curriculum.  At middle school, art, band, choir, drama, athletics, and robotics provide additional opportunities for students to explore.

Borger High School is proud to offer all five Endorsements for graduation:  STEM, Business & Industry, Public Services, Art & Humanities, and Multi-disciplinary Studies.  In addition, we offer extensive CTE opportunities, AP and Pre-AP courses, an award-winning fine arts program, and dual credit opportunities in partnership with Frank Phillips College.  Our talented staff at Borger High is committed to providing a high-quality instructional experience to prepare our students for the 21st Century.

As a school community we have stayed focused on the things that matter:  curriculum and instruction and student achievement. Our students are reaping the benefits.  One day, each will graduate, and we are confident they will leave us fulfilling our BISD's mission  as “…educated, successful, and responsible citizens of our society”.
