District policies (seeEHABandEHAC)ensure that elementary school, intermediate school,and
middlesschool students engage in at least 30 minutes per school day or 135 minutesper
schoolweek of physical activity.

Current campus physical activities:

·Paul Belton Early Childhood Center provides daily a minimum of 30 minutes of physicalactivity
throughrecess, sensory motor lab, music and P.E. class.

·Crockett Elementary provides daily a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity through recess, music or
P.E. class.

·Gateway Elementary provides daily a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity through recess, music or
P.E. class.

·Borger Intermediate provides daily a minimum of 45 minutes of physical activity through recess,
Band, or P.E. class.

·Borger Middle School provides 45 minutes of physical activity throughBand,or P.E. class.
Students must complete 2 P.E. credits in middle school.

Parent’s may request in writing their child’s physical fitness assessment results at the end of the
school year.

The district’s SHAC(School Health Advisory Council) meets four(4) times yearly.
